Lightfield pricing, verified
Lightfield repriced again by September 3, 2026 - its fourth repricing since late July. Every plan still has unlimited seats, and you pay for usage credits: Starter is pay-as-you-go with 5,000 free credits (then $0.040 per credit), Pro is $1,000 per month with 400,000 credits a year and a $0.030 per-credit rate beyond that, and Growth is $2,000 per month with 850,000 credits a year, with Enterprise custom. The bigger change is the budgeting guidance: Lightfield now advises roughly 37,000 credits per month per active seller, up from 8,300 in August, which it prices at about $1,450 on pay-as-you-go and around $1,100 on an annual commitment. If you researched Lightfield even a few weeks ago, your numbers are out of date.

How Lightfield meters AI
Lightfield is now the first AI-native CRM priced purely on usage: seats are unlimited and free on every plan, and the bill is the credits - automated record updates, agent automations, and the rest of the platform draw from the allowance at a published per-credit rate ($0.040 pay-as-you-go, $0.030 on Pro, $0.028 on Growth). Exceed the allowance and overage bills at your plan rate with no service interruption.
Lightfield's own budgeting guidance: "roughly 37,000 credits per month for each active seller" - the AEs, CSMs, and founders whose inbox, calendar, and calls run through it. The vendor prices that at about $1,450 per active seller per month on pay-as-you-go and around $1,100 on an annual commitment. The Pro allocation (400,000 credits a year, about 33,000 a month) covers less than one active seller before overage. Lightfield now publishes a credit calculator at lightfield.app/estimate.
Two fine-print items worth pricing in: credits are annual and unused credits do not roll over at year end, and the credit menu is not itemized per action the way Clarify's is - you get a rate, not a price list.
Details worth knowing
This is a genuine transparency improvement over the July model, and we say so: the credit pool that was "sized to your team on a demo" is now published, rates and all. The trade is that the sticker went abstract - $1,000 per month tells you little until you estimate your team's credit burn, so do the 37,000-per-seller math before comparing stickers.
SSO, role-based access control, and a BAA are Enterprise-only, which matters for security reviews at exactly the team sizes the Growth tier courts. Lightfield lists SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA, and GDPR, with ISO 27001 marked as coming soon. On autonomy, Lightfield remains capture-led: the meeting recorder drives updates. Our Lightfield vs Ahoy comparison covers how that differs from prepared-action systems.
Numbers you may see elsewhere
Lightfield has now published four sets of prices in a matter of weeks: simple per-seat (before July 26, 2026), the $899-per-workspace plan with Full, Capture, and Access seats (July 26 to mid-August), the first unlimited-seat credit model with Pro at $849 (August 14), and the current credit model with Pro at $1,000 (verified September 3). Any guide quoting a per-seat price, an $899 workspace plan, a $250 Full seat, or an $849 Pro plan is describing pricing that no longer exists - including guides written a few weeks ago. Ours was one of them until today; the changelog below is the correction trail.
How this compares with Ahoy
Lightfield now prices the work and gives the seats away; Ahoy prices the seat and gives the work away - AI included, unmetered, with a one-tap approval step before anything ships. Which is cheaper depends entirely on your usage: heavy AI users pay more on a meter, light users pay less. The product differences - capture-led vs prepared action - are covered in Lightfield vs Ahoy.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Lightfield cost?
As of September 3, 2026: Starter is pay-as-you-go with 5,000 free credits then $0.040 per credit, Pro is $1,000 per month with 400,000 credits a year and a $0.030 per-credit rate beyond that, Growth is $2,000 per month with 850,000 credits a year, and Enterprise is custom. Every plan has unlimited seats - you pay for usage, not people.
Does Lightfield still cost $899 per workspace?
No. The $899 workspace plan (with $250 Full seats, $60 Capture seats, and free Access seats) was replaced by mid-August 2026 with an unlimited-seat, credit-based model. Guides quoting the workspace plan - or the per-seat pricing before it - are out of date.
How many credits does a team actually use?
Lightfield's own guidance says to budget roughly 37,000 credits per month per active seller, which the vendor prices at about $1,450 per seller on pay-as-you-go and around $1,100 on an annual commitment. The Pro allocation of 400,000 credits a year (about 33,000 a month) covers less than one active seller before overage billing starts. Lightfield publishes a credit calculator at lightfield.app/estimate.
Do Lightfield credits roll over?
No. Credits are annual and unused credits do not carry over at year end, per Lightfield's pricing page as of September 3, 2026. Overage is billed at your plan's per-credit rate without service interruption.
