Feature Improvement Fix

Stage totals, smarter imports, and a Painted Lady turned pirate

A heads-down week of performance work and fixes, with a few features on top: totals on every pipeline stage, custom calendar titles for booking links, and an import preview - plus the day a Painted Lady flew the pirate flag.

One of San Francisco's Painted Ladies flying a pirate flag for Ahoy's launch event

Much of this week went under the hood - speed and bug fixes across the CRM - but a few visible things shipped too. And on Wednesday, we threw a party.

The Pirates Take a Painted Lady

On July 8, one of San Francisco's Painted Ladies flew a pirate flag for the day as Ahoy came out of stealth. Coffee and donuts at first light, food and music through the afternoon, and a lot of good conversations on Alamo Square. To everyone who came by: thank you. To everyone who couldn't: this page is where the product news lands every week.

Totals on every pipeline stage

Each stage on the pipeline board now carries a footer with the numbers that matter: the total deal amount by default, or any mix of sum, average, and count over the fields you choose. Set it up right where you pick your card fields, and the totals track whatever is on screen - apply a filter or search and the math follows. Pipelines with deals in more than one currency show a total per currency.

Booking links: name the event yourself

Each booking type can now set a template for how booked meetings appear on the calendar. Mix your own words with {booking_type}, {invitee}, {host}, and {location}, and every booking renders a clean title from it - the calendar event and the meeting record in Ahoy always match. Booking links also picked up a round of fixes: collective and round-robin links now respect their configured timezone, the links table shows you your own slug on shared links, and the Zoom and custom location fields work again when creating a link.

See your import before you run it

The import wizard now shows a live preview while you map columns - your first rows, rendered as the records they'll become, for CSV and Excel alike - so a mismapped column gets caught before anything is created. A clearer record-matching control replaces the old checkbox: choose Create new or Update on match per column, with plain descriptions of what happens either way. And multi-file imports can now link records across files, so contacts in one file connect to companies in another.

Faster where you feel it

CRM list pages - contacts, companies, deals, and custom objects - load noticeably faster after a round of query and page-load work. The rest of the week's fixes are the quiet kind you shouldn't notice: things that now just work the way you expected them to.
